These are from a florist on the Viktualienmarkt but perhaps an idea to grow next year? I'm not sure if dahlias are easy to grow or not but will do a little research.

hi there, I can't remember whether I have thanked you for stopping by my blog or not a while back. However, I have taken the time before to read through yours a bit.
About dahlias: Before it freezes, you should take them out of the ground and put them somewhere dark and dry. Then in the spring you can put them in a pot and start them there. After May 15th you can put them in the ground if you like (there shouldn't be anymore freezes after that). Take care and keep coming back, Andrea

Thanks for stopping by and the Dahlia tip as well. Hoping to take the garden to the next level next year and enjoying the remainder of the summer (that feels more like late fall!) so good to have someone who is in our nearby location for ideas.
